We headed to California when Mala was 11 months old for 6 weeks before going to India to spend time with all the friends and family. On June 11th he took his first step and on June 13th he took 4 steps in a row after that he just got better and better. He is a very focused and ambitious boy, he pretty much spent every waking moment practicing walking and ended up with many bruises on his forhead.... full speed ahead! We gave him the 70's action star name BRONXE BRUISER lol. On June 20th he had his one year birthday in Nevada City which both the grammy's we're present for. It was a very special weekend with all our best buddy's. We had big meals together, river trips, finger painting and yummy raw fruit pies. It couldn't have been a more amazing solstice weekend and we look forward to many more like it.
